On Thursday, December 8th  2011 at 5 pm, Borut Vild, graphic designer and senior lecturer from Faculty of Media and Communication, University Singidunum in Belgrade,  will held the lecture and the presentation  of his latest projects for the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and for all those who are interested in it. Borut V ild is a guest on the occasion of the project: “3 in 1” – Penguin 75 – Milton Glaser – Mirko Ilić.

 

Borut Vild CV - Born in Murska Sobota, Slovenia in 1954. Graduated from Faculty of Applied Arts and Design, Department for Graphic Art in Belgrade.

Author of more than fifty visual identities and designs for several hundreds of publications, books and magazines. He was art director and designer of the Centre for Contemporary Art in Belgrade, Belgrade Circle, Contemporary Art Museum in Belgrade and Politika Company.

Has exhibited at twelve solo exhibitions and more than one hundred group exhibitions in his own country and abroad. His works have been published in respectable magazines and publications both at home and abroad. He is one of the founders of International Conference ‘Designer: Author or Universal Soldier’ which gathers most significant authors on the regional, European and world design scene every year in March.

He is senior lecturer of the master programme ‘Digital Art and New Media’ at the Faculty of Media and Communication, University Singidunum in Belgrade.
